224 Submissions Against, Zero for. The proposed Fremantle District Police Complex is without Community Support.

The proposed Fremantle District Police Complex received 224 submissions from the community, ALL of which objected to the proposal!
That might be a new record, making this proposal for Freo’s most unsupported development.
It is sad that the biggest (non-road) investment by the state government into Fremantle in decades has ended up being the wrong building in the wrong location.
But community sentiment on this is spot on. Hopefully, this resounding rejection will encourage the state government to look for a better location in the Fremantle CBD for the police.
